Since their relationship began in NYC and they call LIC their home, Erika and Nate chose The Foundry as their wedding venue. Their wedding date was the very same date that Erika's grandparents were married over 70 years prior. The wedding design was inspired by the juxtapositions of both The Foundry (industrial and green) and the couple themselves and how their opposite personalities create balance in their relationship: Old World Meets New, Raw Industrial Meets Organic, and Rustic Mediterranean Meets Urban Eclectic.
